Relationships during COVID-19

The Relationship Group Seminar: COVID-19 and Love, Mental Health and Gender Differences

Apr 29, 2020 | Events

In the next virtual meeting of the Relationship Group Seminar on Saturday, May 2, 2020 (11:45 AM to 1:00 PM), we will consider three significant social trends arising from the COVID-19 pandemic: anthropologist Helen Fisher describes her views of love and dating during the pandemic; writer Andrew Solomon observes four categories of responses to social isolation; and there is emerging evidence which suggests that, in the long run, the pandemic will negatively impact girls and women more so than boys and men. We will discuss these perspectives and consider their relevance to the particular circumstances of attendees.
